How To Make Oatmeal

How to make oatmeal is a simple recipe that is easily customizable.

Ingredients
  

Oatmeal Recipe

  • 1 cup Old Fashion Oats
  • 3 cup water or plant milk
  • 1 pinch salt optional
  • 1 pinch cinnamon optional
  • 1 dash vanilla extract optional

Variation 1: Apples and Nuts

  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp walnuts chopped

Variation 2: Berries and Cream

  • 1/4 cup berries (blueberries, raspberries or blackberries)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut yogurt

Instructions
 

  • Add water or plant milk to a small pot and set to medium heat. Once the liquid is heated stir in the oats and lower heat. Stir every 30 seconds to 1 minute until the oatmeal has thickened. About 5-10 minutes.
  • Once liquid has been absorbed and oats are thick, remove from heat and let sit for 2 minutes.
